February 29 Take a Leap of Faith!

Hebrews 11:1-3 (NKJV)
Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. For by it the elders obtained a good testimony. By faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that the things which are seen were not made of things which are visible.

Have you had opportunities to do something but hesitated because you were not sure of the outcome? Many times, we have ideas for inventions or business opportunities but procrastinate because we secretly don’t believe we have what it takes to make it happen. Sometimes, we try to do things purely in our own power not putting our faith in our Lord. Many times, we put together our plan and then ask God to bless it. Wouldn’t it be better to include Him in the design stage? Our ego leads us to believe we can do it on our own. A friend of mine said ego stands for “easing God out”.

When we have faith, we believe that God will bless us in our endeavors. If we trust in Him, we will let Him guide us in our efforts since He knows what is best. The world was formed at His word so He knows how it is all made. The Creator knows how the pieces fit. Why not ask Him what to do and how to do it? Follow His lead and watch the deliverance He will bring.

Thank you Lord for paving the way You would have us walk! Thank You that You always walk with us in the journey. You promised You would never leave nor forsake us. Help us to always feel your presence. By Faith, lead us to our destiny which You established from before the beginning of the world. Hold us in Your everlasting arms! In Your name we pray!
