Lead, Follow or Get out of the Way!

Isaiah 41:10 (NKJV)
10 Fear not, for I am with you; Be not dismayed, for I am your God.
I will strengthen you, Yes, I will help you,
I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.

Are you making bad decisions? I know I do. Like Paul, I know what I am supposed to do but rarely do that. I usually procrastinate. Decisions are tough things. Not making a decision is a decision but usually does not have the desired results. For many people, there is much fear in making the wrong decision. I believe the wrong decision is better than no decision. No decision is the wrong decision because it is a decision of default.

Lee Iacocca is the one who said “lead, follow or get out of the way”. As the bombastic leader of Chrysler Corporation, he took over a company that was failing because of poor or non-existent decision making. There was no innovation. The leadership team was stuck in the past. Lee took the helm and turned the company around. Do you think he made a lot of good decisions? Was he afraid? Are you afraid? Why? Do you know who you are and whose you are?

You are a child of the Most High God (CMHG). As such, He cares about you more than you know. In Isaiah, God Himself tells you that He is your God. He says He is with you. He promises He will strengthen you, help you and uphold you with His righteous right hand! He is with you. Why be afraid? Your destiny awaits. Will you hesitate to make a decision that could take you to where God has planned for you to go! Everything you need, He has already given you. Thank Him! So go ahead, include the Spirit’s lead but make a decision. Always pray over that which you face and be still asking for guidance. God will give you a peace about the situation or another idea if it is not what He wants for you.

As we approach another year, there are blessing out there for you that God wants you to have. Be bold and step into your destiny. Fear not for He is with you!

Father, thank You that You are always with us. Help us to hear Your voice and take the steps You have destined. Thank You that You will richly bless us in the coming year from Your bounty. In Jesus name we pray.
