March 20 Salvation is here. Do you see it? Do you hear it? Do you feel it?

2 Corinthians 6:1-2 (NIV)
6 As God’s co-workers we urge you not to receive God’s grace in vain. For he says,
“In the time of my favor I heard you, and in the day of salvation I helped you.”
I tell you, now is the time of God’s favor, now is the day of salvation.

Some people say seeing is believing but it ain’t necessarily so. Illusionists show you things that are not real. Do you believe what you see? Do you believe things you cannot see? Are you aware that salvation is now here? At this time of year, we are reminded that God entered the world to reconcile us to Himself. The Kingdom of God is here and now in the spiritual sense. Zig Ziglar speaks of the way you look at things (attitude) making a difference. You can take the letters “n o w h e r e” and determine that the kingdom is “now here” or “nowhere” – you decide. Is your heart open to the kingdom? It can be seen through the eyes of faith.

My Pastor Don interviewed people who had heard God speak to them. I wrote down what they said. When I went to Honduras last year, I heard God speak to me. I put those things together and this is what we heard. “Trust me!”   “I am all around you.”   “It’ll be OK.” He spoke these words and He is faithful. I choose to believe.

I know others have heard God speak but many are afraid to tell the story for fear others will think they are crazy. I maintain that God still speaks today. Write me if you have heard Him! I am going to tell those stories in a book.

Now is the time of God’s favor. He wants to be with you and He wants you to be with Him. Isaiah 55:6 says “Seek the Lord while he may be found; call on him while he is near.” The Lord is always near. He is all around you. He stands ready willing and able to help you. A Leper asked Jesus if He was willing to make him clean. Jesus replied that He was willing. He is willing to help you too! Why not call on Him because He hears you too?

Father, we thank You that You hear us and are willing to help us. Open our hearts to Your presence. You said You would never leave us nor forsake us. You said You are willing to heal us! You said this is the time of Your grace and favor! Pour out that favor upon us and let us share it with those whom we meet. In Jesus name we pray.
