Singing the Blues.

Psalm 30:11-12 (NKJV)
11 You have turned for me my mourning into dancing;
You have put off my sackcloth and clothed me with gladness,
12 To the end that my glory may sing praise to You and not be silent.
O Lord my God, I will give thanks to You forever.

For those of us who have faith in God, weeping may last for the night but joy comes in the morning. Our God works out all things for our good. Even though we go through trials, we have the strength to face those trials and be transformed by them. The Lord our God will walk with us through the trouble and bring us out on the other side. And when we come through the trial, we will rejoice and praise Him who gave us strength.

Are you going through a difficult time? When things seem their darkest, we tend to think we are alone and will not make it through. But faith can strengthen us. It can help us to endure knowing that this test can become our testimony. Our God will use what we face to refine and transform us into the people He designed us to be. He will never leave nor forsake us! No matter what, God is there for you. Reach out to Him when you are afraid. He will be your strength and shield. You do not have to go it alone. He walks with you and will carry you when need be.

Lord, we thank You that You are always there for us no matter how dark the night appears. Help us to remember that the dawn always follows the dark of night. After all, You are the light of the world and you come to each of us to calm our fears and bring us through whatever challenge we face. Be with us today Lord. We need you. Turn our mourning into dancing. In Your name we pray.
