Psalm 118:24 (NKJV)
24 This is the day the Lord has made; We will rejoice and be glad in it.
Some people say Good morning Lord; others say Good Lord it’s morning. Which are you? Abraham Lincoln said “Folks are usually about as happy as they make their minds up to be.” So it seems that it is a choice. What choice will you make? It is my contention that attitude is everything. The attitude with which you start the day makes all the difference. How will you start your day?
The Lord made all our days. It was his intention that we be blessed in all our days. He made them so we could rejoice and be glad. Are you glad in the morning? Shouldn’t you be? If you focus on the blessings God has given you, you will be able to enjoy each day as it comes. What will today bring? Will it bring happiness? Will it bring joy? It can if you decide that is what you want! You can be as happy as you make up your mind to be. The battle begins in your mind. Make the decision to be positive. It is your choice. Make the choice to rejoice!
Good morning Lord! Thank you for this day and every day. Help us to rejoice in the day You have given us. In Your name we pray!
