Flawless

2 Corinthians 5:17 (NKJV)
17 Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.

Sometimes we sit and look at ourselves as if we are completely lost and worthless. We have had an awful day and everything we touch has turned out badly. We feel as if nothing is going to go our way. We think everyone is against us; that we can do nothing right. Momma said there would be days like this and here they are. But all is not lost. There is a God and He is still on His throne. And best of all, you are His heir; made in His image and likeness!

It all happens when you invite Christ into your heart. At that moment, you become a new creation. The light of Christ is so overwhelming that it overshadows any faults that you may have. They are hidden by the glory of amazing Grace. Your flaws have passed away and you become flawless in the sight and light of Christ. Behold, all things, including you, have become new. So whatever faults you have, they will be erased. Those shortcomings, gone! Anger, doubt, pain, unworthiness all washed away by the flood of grace. You are flawless in the eyes of your Creator. That is quite an inheritance to live up to, isn’t it? With that in mind, how will you show you new status to those you meet? Will you have a renewed confidence? Will you be kinder? Will you be more gracious toward others? Shouldn’t you be passing on what you have received? Then go out and praise the works of others! Become a good finder. They already know what they are doing wrong! You tell them what they are doing right and praise them for it. People will repeat activity for which they are praised. What would you like to see from others? How can you praise them in a way that will lead them to repeat that good behavior?

Below are the lyrics to Flawless by Mercyme and the link to the video. Learn the chorus and sing it to those you love. They will become so much better in your eyes. And your positive expectancy will lead them to go up higher and accomplish much more. Love them into their destiny by extending the grace you have received. Remember, the Cross has made you flawless.

Father, thank You for Christ and Your Grace which makes us flawless. You have wrapped us in the righteousness of Christ so that our faults are no longer visable to You. While You are in the process of making us new creations, take away all the old faults and make us more like You. Give us Your eyes to see our brothers and sisters through the lens of love; Your love! For in You, we are new creations. In Jesus name we pray. Amen!

No matter the bumps No matter the bruises
No matter the scars Still the truth is
The cross has made The cross has made you flawless
No matter the hurt Or how deep the wound is
No matter the pain Still the truth is
The cross has made The cross has made you flawless
