Isaiah 41:10 (NKJV)
10 Fear not, for I am with you; Be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you,
Yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.’
Fear Uncertainty & Doubt vs. Grace & Encouragement. What would you choose? What does God want for you? We read that He is with us. He will strengthen us. He will help us. What does all that mean?
Isaiah was a Prophet of the Lord God Most High. He told the people the things God spoke of to and for them. This is one of God’s promises. The Lord God promised that He would strengthen and uphold us. By His power we are strong. Are you strong in the Lord?
When Israel came out of Egypt, they wandered through the desert to Mt. Sinai where God gave them the Law. He told them, through Moses, to build a tabernacle where His Spirit would reside. God Himself would once again live among His people. In Exodus 40:34, when the tabernacle was completed, the cloud covered the Tent of Meeting and the glory of the Lord filled the tabernacle. Moses could not enter the Tent of Meeting because of God’s glory. God was among His people leading and guiding them. God promises us to be with us, to strengthen us, to be our God, to help us and uphold us with His righteous right hand.
God doesn’t want us to live lives of fear. His presence among us should give us the confidence we need to live as He designed. He has prepared things for us to enjoy. He gives us the strength we need for the tasks He has prepared for us to do. You are given the needed gifts to accomplish your destiny. You can do all things through Christ who gives you strength. With God as your helper, what will you do? Knowing that He is there for you, will you choose FUD or Grace and Encouragement? Choose wisely!
Lord God, thank You that You give us this choice. Reassure us that You will uphold us. Give us the confidence to choose Grace. In Your name we pray!
