What is your Final Destination?

Philippians 4:6-7 (NKJV)
Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

Zig Ziglar told a story about flying and the pilot coming on the intercom telling the passengers that they are about to reach their final destination. He got scared and asked the flight attendant to ask the pilot if he could make this their next to final destination. Zig still had things he needed to do! What about you? What is your final destination? Mine is heaven with my Lord and Savior. He has given me peace in knowing where I am going. Do you have confidence?

Paul tells us need not to worry! He tells us to go to God and ask for blessings. Paul knew that God longs to bless us. We don’t deserve His grace but He offers it anyway. With God on our side, there is no reason to be anxious. He will provide all our needs and prepare a way for us to reach our destiny. We can live in peace. This is not just being calm. This peace goes deep. It is a sense that everything will be OK no matter what comes against us. John 16: (NKJV) says 33 These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.” Isn’t that the way you want to live? How great would it be to know that you have nothing to worry about? You can live in peace knowing the Lord has made a way for you through the valley of the shadow of death to the table He has prepared for you on the other side. Keep walking and receive the blessings your Heavenly Father has stored up for you. Oh yeah; remember to be thankful! God loves grateful people. He loves you!

Thank You Father that You love us so much that You prepare a way for us to reach great things in Your name. Allay our fears and help us to live in peace and joy. You guard our hearts and our minds in Christ Jesus. Grant us Your peace which passes all understanding. In Your name we pray.
