Isaiah 49:13-18 (NKJV) God Will Remember Zion
13 Sing, O heavens! Be joyful, O earth! And break out in singing, O mountains! For the Lord has comforted His people, And will have mercy on His afflicted.
14 But Zion said, “The Lord has forsaken me, And my Lord has forgotten me.” 15 “Can a woman forget her nursing child, And not have compassion on the son of her womb? Surely they may forget, Yet I will not forget you.
16 See, I have inscribed you on the palms of My hands;
Your walls are continually before Me. 17 Your sons shall make haste; Your destroyers and those who laid you waste Shall go away from you. 18 Lift up your eyes, look around and see; All these gather together and come to you.
As I live,” says the Lord, “You shall surely clothe yourselves with them all as an ornament, And bind them on you as a bride does.
How many times have you wondered about what you should do in a situation? You wish you had someone with whom to talk. You would like to ask God but you can’t bother Him with such trivial matters. He has a universe to run. He doesn’t have time for your inconsequential problems. Reach out to God in all things. He wants a conversation.
Many times, we think God is too busy to worry about us when just the opposite is true. You are more important to Him than a nursing child is to its mother. He has inscribed you on the palms of His hands. This is true on more than one level. You can take a look at the palms of Jesus hands and see your inscription there. Thomas saw it 28 And Thomas answered and said to Him, “My Lord and my God!” Thomas recognized what Jesus did for him and still does for us today. God watches out for us always. He neither slumbers nor sleeps but watches over you! Are you aware of your Protector? Do you know how much He loves you? He adores you! God created the universe and all that is in it so He could have a relationship with you! So the next time you think you don’t want to bother Him with your problems, think again! If you are like me, you don’t even understand how anyone could love that much let alone believe that you are the object of His affection. You are His child. As such, He wants the best for you. Today, walk as if you understand you are a child of the King of Kings! Walk in your blessings!
Lord, we thank You that You care for us in more ways than we understand. We know You hold us ever before You and encircle us with Your protection as a shield. Help us to know You are there always. Grant us Your favor and Your peace. In Jesus name we pray!
